Tour Overview

Day 1: Casablanca

Upon your arrival at the Mohamed V Airport in Casablanca, transfer to your hotel. Our driver will be ready to show you the city (depends on your arrival). While in Casablanca you will visit the Hassan II Mosque, the third largest mosque in the world. In the afternoon back to your hotel or riad..

Day 2: Casablanca - Essaouira

Morning departure to Essaouira, via El Jadida, Safi along the Atlantic coast. After lunch in Eloualidia we will continue in our way to reach Essaouira. The romantic seaside of Essaouira, a charming and old port town on the Alantic coast known for beaches, modern art, traditional crafts and a unique blend of architectural styles. Essaouira is a typical Portuguese harbor portraying influences of both Moorish and Portuguese design. Overnight accommodation in hotel or riad.

Day 3: Essaouira - Agadir - Mirlift - Legzirra

After breakfast departure to Agadir, crossing fields. Agadir is a truly Morocco’s beach town. The city was almost destroyed by the earthquake in 1960. The government rebuilt it brick by brick, but with an eye for tourism and beachgoers. Visitors can now lounge on the beach or watch the world go by at a boardwalk café. Agadir towards Tiznit for a visit to the Silver city. Later we drive along the coast to reach Aglou beach, towards Mirleft where you will enjoy a lunch meal and relax before transferring to your hotel in Legzira beach.

Day 4: Legzirra - Bouyzakarn - Akka - Tata

After breakfast at the hotel, departure towards the region of Tata as a base for off-the-beaten-track excur­sions, such as Akka oasis, desert camping and the rock engravings at Oum el-Alek, Tircht and Ait Herbil, among the finest in Morocco. After hours driving along the beautiful scenries and mountains, we will stop for a picnic lunch. Then we'll continue our trip through the landscapes of the region with nice stops. We reach Tata for dinner and spend a night in a hotel.

Day 5: Tata - Foum Zguid - Taznakht - Ouarzazat

Today our journey will let us to enjoy the silence of wild desert. Mixed between montains and sand dunes we drive across the gravel desert until we reach the small oasis village of Foum Zguid. After lunch we will leave small settlements in the midst of palm groves behind, cross the Antiatlas and arrive at Tazenakht, which is known for its beautiful carpets and Ouzguita Berbers. From there the road winds its way up weathered rock formations to out Ouarzazate we will have the chance to visit kasbah ait ben haddou which is not far from that point. The kasbah is one of the most intriguing red earth castles lining the ancient road of the Kasbahs, and is a UNESCO world heritage site. Come back the same way to Ouarzazate, “The Hollywood of Africa”. We will stop to visit the Taourirt kasbah former home of the famous Pasha Glaoui. The painted ceilings, arches, beautiful small windows with wrought iron works and woodwork have helped make it another UNESCO site. The local guide will explain lifestyle of the pasha in the former feudalistic Moroccan society, stressing the status of his women, the favourites and common-law wives as well as the slaves. In the afternoon enjoy a private visit to the Atlas Corporation Studio, a well–known cinematographic centre renowned for blockbuster productions including "Asterix and Cleopatre" directed by Alain Chabat; and the Oscar-winning "Gladiator", directed by Ridley Scott. Overnight accommodation will be at the hotel or riad in Ouarzazate.

Day 6: Ouarzazate – Dades Valley – Todra Gorge - Erfoud – Merzouga

Continue our trip to Dades Gorge via rose valley. Through “The road of the thousand Kasbahs”, the fascinating “sand castles”. We will continue our journey to stop at Kalaat Mgouna, “The roses city” known for roses and its annual festival during the roses harvest in May. We drive through dades valley to see the amazing rock formation “The monkey toes” and the still-standing 19th century Kasbah of Ait Yul. Leave the Dades valley towards Tinrghir and the Todra valley. Watch the panoramic views of the old mud Berber villages overlooking the valley. Get to the Gorge and walk under the 300m high red cliff, where many Rock-climbers come to enjoy their favorite sport. Continue our trip to Erfoud and Rissani where we have lunch; afterwards, we leave for the village of Merzouga where your will spend the first night in the desert area in your hotel.

Day 7: Merzouga - Erg Chebbi tour

After visiting the village and oasis of Merzouga, you’ll visit the Gnawa people, originally slaves brought from Sudan, to experience their music and lifestyle. Then we continue to see the panoramic view behind the Erg Chebbi of sand dunes so as to take lot of pictures and to see how the colour of the dunes is changing by the light of the sun. After that we go to the village of Mirdani — an old village in ruins. Also stopping at M’fis, the place where coal was extracted and the large majority of the population of Merzouga worked to earn a living. A very interesting day which is spent in or very near the dunes — the highest dunes in Morocco. After the village of Mirdani we continue to the Bedouin families in their tents at Kem Kem. After having tea there we continue to finish the tour by visiting where you can see the fossiles and the oasis of tissardmine in the afternoon we will come back to Merzouga where your camel will be awaiting. You mount a camel, guided by an experienced camel man, to explore within the mysterious sand-sea of the Erg-Chebbi. Here you will spend your night under the stars, or if you prefer, in a traditional Berber nomad tent.

Day 8: Merzouga - Rissani - Erfoud - Ziz Valley - Errachidia - Rich - Zaida - Midelt - Azrou - Immouzer - Ifran - Fes

In the morning we will ride the camels to Merzouga. You’ll have breakfest and shower in your riad in Merzouga. Then travel to Fes via Errachidia along the magnificent Ziz Gorges carved through volcanic rock, and through the Tizi Ntalghamt Pass to Midelt. Then we continue our journey to Azrou, a berber village in the Middle Atlas Mountains. We will stop to see the Barbarian apes in the famous Cedar forest. We'll visit Ifran, “The French village”, for a picture or a drink then drive to Fes with overnight accommodation in hotel or riad.

Day 9: Visit Fes

The whole day is devoted to tour this UNESCO World Heritage City. Sightseeing of Fes includes the medieval medina with its Attarine and Bou Anania Medersas, the Nejjarine fountain, the Moulay Idriss mausoleum and the Karaouine mosque. Afternoon visit of Fez al Jdid – new Fes. In the evening check-in to the hotel or riad.

Day 10: Fes - Volubilis - Moulay Idriss Zarhoun - Meknes - Rabat - Casablanca

After breakfast we will drive to Volubilis, the best example of an ancient Roman city in Morocco. After that drive through Moulay Idriss Zerhoun, The holiest Islamic town in the Kingdom of Morocco, where thousands of the Moroccan faithful come on pilgrimage every August to pray at the tomb of this descendant of the Prophet Mohammed. You will continue the tour to Meknes, one of Morocco’s ancient imperial cities, where you will have a break for drinking some coffe and strolls in its busy square and Medina(Lahdim). Sightseeing of magnificent Meknes includes Mosolum Moulay Ismail, Bab Mansour, Sahrij Souani. You will drive to Rabat where you will visit the best sites of this city such as the Hassan Tower, Mohammed V Mausoleum, and the Oudayas Kasbah overlooking the Atlantic. Then travel to Casablanca where your hotel.

Day 11: Casablanca airport

After breakfast there's a transfer to Casablanca Mohammed V International airport for your return flight. End of our service.
