This day trip is for people who wants to experience the berber life in the countryside of southern Morocco. After the breakfast at your hotel/Riad Pick up at 08:00 am, heading to Taroudant, also known as the small Marrakech, which is just 1-1/2 hours away. It’s a town that is half citadel, half oasis; it possesses great charm and grace, with its majestic gold, pink and orange high walls. Drive around the historical wall surrounding the city and stop for photos. Enter the medina through one of its gates and cross its narrow and colorful streets and souks before continuing to the Berber Village and Oasis of Tiout, just 18 miles away. You might catch a glimpse of goats eating on the top of Argan trees by the roadside and if possible, your vehicule will stop for a unique photo opportunity. Upon arrival, you’ll be welcomed by the local Berber inhabitants with their saddled mules and donkeys, ready to assist you with a ride to discover the oasis of the village with its palm grove, river and bridge. Enjoy lunch in this country setting under Berber tents where you’ll see local folk entertainers and experience the real life of the Berbers while enjoying Moroccan specialties. Then it’s back to your vehicule by donkey and mule ride for your return to Agadir. Relax and enjoy the views during your two-hour drive.
